Much more than just a botanical garden. Here, children can enjoy vast green meadows to run around in, an educational farm to visit and, above all, a large hedge maze where they can challenge each other to find the way out.
When to visit the park?
Every season is stunning and has its own unique charm. Spring is a riot of colour: from crocuses to tulips, daffodils to hyacinths, peonies to roses – and much more besides! The green expanses are the perfect place to recover from the winter chill. In summer, you can admire marvellous aquatic blooms such as water lilies and lotus flowers, as well as hydrangeas, dahlias, daylilies and marigolds, whilst enjoying the shade of the ancient trees. Autumn in the Park is special thanks to the explosion of colour provided by the foliage of the Japanese maples and ginkgo biloba trees, as well as the numerous asters, Indian canna and annuals.
