Trekking and Nordic Walking

An ideal destination for sports enthusiasts, Lake Garda offers a wide choice of itineraries and routes for trekking and Nordic walking enthusiasts and hundreds of routes of all levels of difficulty for sport climbing lovers. 

You can choose itineraries that offer breathtaking views of the lake, such as those that wind on Monte Baldo, or the Trekking of the Emperor's Fortresses from Riva del Garda, routes dedicated to the historical memory of the First World War.

FIT-WALKING '' BALOSSE '' PATH IN PADENGHE SUL GARDA


The start of the nature and sports trail is near the parking lot in front of Piazza D'Annunzio, it can be traveled on foot or by bike and is equipped with signs and billboards indicating the local flora and fauna.
The Balosse nature trail extends for about 3,500 m in an urban and rural environment. Important areas are the Rio Balosse basin, the wetland of the Rio and the fields of the Posserlè area. The route includes educational information signs: flora, fauna, environment. 

The Fitwalking itinerary (it is an activity suitable for everyone, the true meaning of walking) is about 3,000 m. 

Along the way there are signs indicating the various parameters of pace and speed.

TREKKING IN THE NATURAL PARK OF THE ROCCA DI MANERBA


In the beautiful Manerba del Garda, the park of the Rocca, surmounted by a large cross placed in the center of the ruins of the ancient castle, arises around the homonymous promontory from which you can admire a spectacular view of the lake.
On foot or by bicycle, visitors can explore the various nature trails, discovering archaeological finds, Bronze Age ruins (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as well as early medieval and religious structures. The Valtenesi Civic Archaeological Museum (Museo Civico Archeologico della Valtenesi) displays numerous remains unearthed during excavations in the Pieve, Rocca, San Sivino, and Sasso areas.

From the Rocca you can also reach a splendid beach.
